Every occasion can be a chance to use flowers. They can either be used as decorations or as gifts. In most circumstances, the flowers bring joy and happiness and sometimes romance. At funerals, there is a loss, but flowers can say what is hard to say on that type of occasion. They do not have to have a dark look for a funeral. Even in the moment that a funeral occurs, the flowers can be a celebration of life.
The emotions involved with funerals are sadness and sympathy. There are flowers that do say “sorry for your loss” without actually saying the words. In addition, the colors of the flowers are important, especially with roses, since these do have specific emotions attached to them.
Red roses show love and yellow roses show friendship. White roses can also be used because they show youth and that brings in memories of the past of the person’s life that you are celebrating. Pinks and purples are great colors for the funeral too with flowers like lilies, morning stars, and carnations.
Funeral flowers can be chosen in a variety of forms. Baskets, vases, wreaths, bouquets, and standing flowers are all available. The shapes of the flowers can be made into crosses, wreaths, heart shaped wreaths and even hearts. The decision of what types of flowers, their colors and how many to have as part of the funeral are up to you. Local florists and the funeral home can help with the final decisions.
A funeral is a time to celebrate one’s life and say your final goodbyes to your loved ones. The types of flowers at a funeral should be the ones that reflect the taste of the deceased and what they liked. If that is unknown then simple flower, arrangements that are beautiful will make the day seem a little brighter.
Flowers symbolize love and caring so they are perfect for funerals and those that are affected by the death in the family. Flowers give hope and show faith so that the giver can say what is inside their heart without ever having to say the words.
